Design Meltdown
Traffic levels on the average weekday are typically in the 4-5,000 unique people range. Total RSS subscribers are beyond 9,000. Your site will be exposed to many thousands of designers and developers from beginner to advanced. Total reach is more then 100,000 distinct visitors per month.
Daily Slurp
The sponsors section of Design Meltdown is shared with the Daily Slurp, a daily set of beautiful sites to browse for inspiration. Typical daily traffic levels run at around 800 unique visitors per day. Total reach is more then 15,000 unique visitors per month.
Design Meltdown Banner Ads
You can purchase time in the Design Meltdown banner slots on a CPM bassis. Each 1,000 impressions costs $4, with a minimum purchase of $100 (25,000 impressions). There are currently two size of ad units that these impressions will show up in:
200x200 Block - This block appears at the top of every article with copy. Link only articles don't have this.
468x60 Block - This is the horizontal banner the appears at the top of many pages and the bottom of every article.
Sponsor Section Advertising
Your ad can be placed in the right column under the sponsors section.
The advertisement will be shown on every page of the site. As well as
being displayed on the all pages of the Daily Slurp site.
Ad space for Design Meltdown and the Daily Slurp are one and the same. Listing on
one gets you both. The number of sponsors for
any given month will be limited to six. In particular I am interested in promoting goods and services that would
be of interest to designers, programmers, and web developers.

These rates produce a CPM cost (cost per 1,000 impressions) below $1 which makes them an amazing deal. As such they book up fast.
All rates are subject to change. Clearly locking in a price for a
longer period results in a considerable discount, as high as 20%.

Rankings
Design Meltdown's technorati rank generally hovers around 7,000 though it has dipped down around 5,000
The alexa rating is generally around 30,000, but alexa stats always tend to bounce around a lot.
