Icons Part 2

The Design Element
For me the key to successful usage of icons in a web design is integration. Anyone can slap an icon on something and call it quits. On the other hand, if you want a nice unified design your gonna have to work it a bit. Not only should the style of the icons fit the site, but the color pallet as well. This seems obvious, but at the same time it can be so easy to not do this. The thing I love about these samples is that the icons really work to reinforce the design of the site and in many ways become the focus. Most of all though, they look like they belong.
