The Design Element
The one page site has so many appealing aspects based on theory alone. This set of sites however is appealing because they are absolutely beautiful. As always I pushed for a wide range. From simple, clean, and elegant, to rich, graphic, and consuming. This collection of links really does show the diversity and power the single page can hold. Pretty much all of these are portfolio sites, and it is a lot of fun to see how each individuals personality shines through on their site. In terms of branding and communication this is of course the point. The fact that we can guess about the person based on the design is the ultimate goal. It helps people know if they are hiring the right guy for the job.
